This is a My Little Pony fanfiction where my new crystal pony OC, Feathereagle, a stalky but friendly crystal pony, is destined to save the Crystal Empire as King Sombra is destined to kill them all.
I thought Twilight saves them?
This is as soon as it becomes hidden, so it is pretty much a thousand years before.
Desceription for Feathereagle?
Name: Feathereagle
Looks:
Personality: Stubborn, stalky, caring, shy, fierce, Graceful
Cutie Mark: An eagle's head
Why is her name " Feathereagle " ?
She is somewhat graceful, which makes her represent an eagle, along with her looks. She is well known, so every year she raises a flying competition for eagles.
Since she is well known, wouldn't people recognize her in Canterlot or Ponyville?
Because of the dread of King Sombra's rule, their crystally looks and beaded extensions make them unrecognizable in a way, and, she is now an alicorn, and her cutie mark is a eagle feather instead of an eagle's head because of Celestia's attempted evacuation.

PROLOGUE
Destruction. That's all that is happening. Right now this second, just plain destruction. Princess Celestia of Canterlot and Princess Luna attempted to get rid of King Sombra for good, but no. As it did kill him, it didn't get rid of the horrible feeling of dread spilled across all of them. The Crystal Tower was collapsing above them, and Feathereagle cowarded in fear as it collapsed. She almost screamed as debris started to hit everyone, but instead she winced as the horror unfolded in front of her. She peeked enough to see Celestia staring wide eyed at her, as their eyes met, all the pain and horror leaked out of her and it was replaced by a somewhat feeling of pleasure. It was enough to make her smile slightly as light engulfed her, and as it did, shapes of nice furniture formed, and as it cleared, she realized she was in Canterlot. She removed her hoofs from her face and looked at Princess Celestia with wide eyes. " Why am I in Canterlot? " She asked, almost to herself. Celestia sighed, exhausted. " I'm almost afraid to say, but you were the only one who I could save.. " Feathereagle didn't know what she was talking about. Was this all a dream? " What do you mean? The only one? Why did you fail? " She demanded. " The last one. " Princess Luna said simply. " You are the the last one. We tried to save your empire, but the magic messed up.. and now your here. " She said for Celestia. Celestia closed her eyes, sadly nodding in agreement. " But what happened to the other ponies? Are they dead? " Celestia raised her horn and magically made Feathereagle off the ground, regaining her magic. " They are gone till we can get them back. For now, you are refuging in Ponyville, a small town not too far from here. " She paused, taking a deep breath. And raised her horn again, this time creating a shiny light, reminding her of her city. Feathereagle backed up a bit, aware that it was moving towards her. " Stay still. " Celestia commanded through gritted teeth. " Feathereagle nodded sheepishly, tensing as it came even closer. She suddenly got a headache, alarmed by something growing on her head. When the pain stopped, magic struck her, causing her to screech as it filled her. A book popped up magicly in front of her. Princess Celestia gasped, and the magic stopped. Feathereagle dizzily looked up. " Why does my head hurt? " She asked carefully. Celestia looked her straight in the eye. " I turned you into alicorn so you could be disguised, and turn into a crystal pony for a minute or two. The book in front of you is a magic book, helping your magic skills. You are the last one, Feathereagle. You are the only one who could save your kind. " Feathereagle's eyes widened. " The only one.. that could save them? " She gulped. " Princess Celestia, I'm truly honored.. but.. are you sure you can trust me? " Princess Celestia nodded, determined. " I'm more than sure. " She said simply.

CHAPTER 1
As Princess Celestia's chariot flew away, Feathereagle shifted nervously. She still wasn't sure if Celestia could trust her. Saving a whole empire.. pretty much alone, how could that be possible? Even, how could being the very last crystal pony be possible? She bit her lip, looking around. She noticed four paths, and a flowing water fountain with a earth pony reared up as the top statue. Celestia had given her a book and a pack with her " new " cutie mark on it. Pulling the book out of the pack carefully, she trotted over to the fountain. Ignoring the wetness of the side border stone of the fountain, she sat down, reading the magic book as her mind got slowly engulfed in it. Reading the chapter " Teleporting " , she tested her magic from the last chapter, " Moving Objects " , and after she closed the book, she set it down on the driest spot, and concentrated. She slowly lifted the book with her magic and tried to set it on the bowl, which was holding the pony statue. Suddenly, her magic stopped, sending the book straight into the water, and she dived for it. As she was holding the book in her mouth, she put her front hoofs on the side border stone, panting. Feathereagle heard giggling with a feeling of dread. " Did you need help there? " Asked a giggly voice, and Feathereagle grunted and looked towards the voice. She blinked as she saw a mare, or a Pegasus, staring at her with a snicker. The mare was honestly pretty, being judged by her spiky but neat hair and the feathers and beads hanging from her hair, similar to her fashion at her city. " No seriously.. do you need help? " She repeated, her mischievousness gone. The mare grabbed her by the stomach, wrapping her hoofs around her stomach, and moved Feathereagle. She squealed, squirming under her hold. Her hoofs almost slipped, and her wings were flapping madly, but finally she set Feathereagle down with a heavy grunt, and panted. As she calmed down, her pesky attitude came back. She smirked. " You had quite an attitude back there.. " She paused, and her smirk turned to a shocked expression. " Wow.. " She smiled. " Your an alicorn! "
Feathereagle shifted. " Well.. " The mare leaned in, looking fascinated. " I'm Peckingbird! " Her normal attitude came back, again. Her wings unfurled and furled quickly, and she flapped them, revealing a new trait... headstrong. She flew around quickly back and forth, then she stretched her neck and set her head beside Feathereagle's. " What's yours? " She asked, slightly curious, she could tell. " Er.. " She placed a hoof to Peckingbird's cheek, pushing her away. " I'm Feathereagle. " Peckingbird eyed her up and down, raising her eyebrow. " Pretty obvious, if you ask me.. " Her ears suddenly shot up, and her eyes widened, clearly excited. " You seem new.. " She paused, lowering her eyes darkly. " Are you from Canterlot? "
Feathereagle noticed her despair and lowered her head. " Yeah.. why? "
Peckingbird shook her head, getting rid of the dark look. " I just have bad experiences with Canterlot.. " She looked up and hissed. " Look, I think you should go back to Canterlot, Ponyville isn't a place for snobs. "
Feathereagle blinked, slightly surprised by her bitterness. " Just because I said I came from Canterlot doesn't mean I was born in it. " She snapped.
Peckingbird threw her head back and eyed her. " Then where are you from? " She challenged. Feathereagle realized she revealed too much, and backed up nervously. " I.. uh.. I come from Manehatten.. " Peckingbird blinked, calming down. " Well, you can't stay out here long. " She lowered to the ground and furled her wings. " Come to my house, it's getting late. You can sleep in the guest room till we get you a house. " Feathereagle nodded sheepishly, and followed Peckingbird into Ponyville.
As they entered the village, she got strange and surprised stares, not because she was new, it's just because she was an alicorn. Feathereagle greeted the ones who weren't speechless with a slight nod, and as soon as they got to the house, she entered quickly to get rid of the stares. Peckingbird sighed, looking at her with a calm but bored look. She gritted her teeth, producing her best smile, and gave another look, which Feathereagle guessed it meant this:
I'm not really glad your here but I shall welcome you with calm and happy looks..
She wiggled her tail, signaling Feathereagle to follow her, and bolted up the stairs, echoing her heavy steps throughout the house.
